At the School of Communications & Media Studies, LLBSUK applications are accepted only twice a year with three deadlines for PGD & Masters programmes. Submit your online application by the deadlines outlined below to start in your preferred enrollment term. Application deadline expired one month before commencement of the programme.

  • PGD Cohort 1 – Jan-Sept | Application opens – Nov 5th | Deadline – Jan 4th 
  • PGD Cohort 2 – March – Nov | Application opens – Feb 5th | Deadline – March 5th 
  • Masters Programme – Jan- Dec | Application opens – Nov 5th | Deadline – Jan 4th

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

  • Admission Requiremennts for Masters Programmes

Applicants seeking admission into the Masters Programmes must possess

  1. All intending applicants must hold at least a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Communications, Media Studies, or related fields from a recognized institution, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) in any discipline. Candidates with relevant industry experience and demonstrable communication or digital leadership skills may also be considered or a PGD from LLBSUK/SCMS or a recognized tertiary institution within or outside Nigeria.
  2. Admission is based on academic merit, professional background, and a statement of purpose outlining the applicant’s interest and career goals.
  3. Digital HD quality of Award of Completion by above mentioned tertiary institution
  4. Possessing work experience of over 6 years and above in your field of endeavor
  5. Statement of Purpose of 500 to 1,000 words long, or 1–2 single-spaced pages in 12-point font attached to the above documents
  6. Digital HD copy of portfolio photograph (studio quality)
  7. Transcripts document from your tertiary institution
  8. Concise and well detailed Curriculum Vitae
  9. Evidence of payment of Tuition & Registration Fee

  • Admission Requirements for PGD Programmes

Applicants seeking admission into the PGD Programmes must possess:

  1. All intending candidates who possess a good HND or above (mostly in Arts and Social Sciences) with a PGD from LLBSUK/SCMS or a recognized tertiary institution within or outside Nigeria.
  2. Digital HD quality of Award of Completion by above mentioned tertiary institution
  3. Possessing work experience of over 6 years and above in your field of endeavor
  4. Statement of Purpose of 500 to 1,000 words long, or 1–2 single-spaced pages in 12-point font attached to the above documents
  5. Digital HD copy of portfolio photograph (studio quality)
  6. Transcripts document from your tertiary institution
  7. Concise and well detailed Curriculum Vitae
  8. Evidence of payment of Tuition & Registration Fee
