| Senior executives
share a common desire to deliver significant
benefits to shareholders. One clear path to these
benefits is through a world-class supply chain. The
challenge is knowing what steps to take to achieve
that performance, where to invest and how to measure
results. Participation in the Global Chemical
Industry Best Practices Study and Assessment will help
answer these questions. |
|
Overview |
| In 2005, 11 major
chemical manufacturers—Air Liquide, BASF, Bayer, ExxonMobil Chemical, Dow, DuPont, Huntsman,
Lyondell, Shell, Sumitomo Chemical and TOTAL
Petrochemicals—formed
a steering committee
to develop an unprecedented industry-specific study.
The resulting study gave over 260 chemical
businesses valuable insights into their supply
chains that they could not have found elsewhere.
The study was so successful that the steering
committee and Accenture agreed to expand the
investigative process for the 2007 study. View a list of the
2007 study topics. |
